This comes from the top down with Altitude Media run by Yolanda Torrisi who has these qualities in infectious abundance. Not only has this spread to others within the business, but Yolanda’s passion, positivity, proactiveness, honesty and transparency is the basis of all the work she delivers to clients and, in fact, is the reason for her success. This is the success she replicates in her clients.
Yolanda began her working career as a journalist working at various daily regional and metropolitan newspapers across Australia. In 2000 she established her own public relations company, Altitude Media, providing company and investor relations services to a number of clients in the mining and construction industries.
Her expertise extends to providing public relations services across numerous and varied industry sectors delivering communications, events and public relations. Yolanda’s outstanding written and verbal communication skills, her ability to develop and cultivate relationships and her unrivalled passion have seen her utilising her experience and talents to help companies reach new heights.
Yolanda’s experience as a journalist and public relations specialist spans 30 years and spreads across multiple disciplines including working directly in media publishing, business development, client engagement, investor and community relations across Australia, Asia and Africa.
Yolanda is particularly proud of having started and run the highly successful The ASIA Miner magazine, co-authoring the successful food book Flavours of The Four Seasons – a producer to plate food and recipe book. She also hosted the highly rating Tempting the Tastebuds and Aromas Over the Airwaves programs for ABC Radio for 14 years. She was a Miss Australia Quest regional title holder which fed her passion to be an active community participant. Yolanda volunteers on a number of community organisations
